Sound tools built from how we actually hear.
Gridlogic Studios makes instruments and software from real hearing science. Each tool starts in the lab at CymaticBridge, where I build machines that listen through a model of the human ear, and ends up as something you can play.

What I'm building
Each module is written once and becomes a module in the Rack, firmware or hardware for Eurorack, and later a plugin for your DAW.
Corti
A digital voice built the way the ear hears: 64 partials laid out on the cochlea's own frequency map. Shape where the ear is excited and Corti builds the sound. Vowels, bells, metal, shimmering pads, and resynthesis of anything you feed it.
Hear it →Gridlogic Rack
A modular studio in your browser, built only from Gridlogic modules: Corti, oscillators, filters, a quad VCA, envelopes, sequencers, chords, drums, delay and reverb, patched with cables into a 32-channel mixer. Every module is designed to become hardware.
Open the Rack →Cochlea analyser
See your mix the way a human ear does: which places along the cochlea each sound excites, where parts mask each other, and what the ear really resolves.
Ear resynth
Corti's resynthesis as an effect: re-sing any track through 64 tuned partials, freeze a moment into a chord, or play a drum loop as a melody.
Built on real hearing research
At CymaticBridge I train AIs to listen through a model of the human ear and race them against the standard approach, in public. What works there becomes the heart of these instruments: the cochlea's frequency map, its resonances, the way the brainstem picks out timing and the starts of sounds.
